Ceremonies in the Old Church

The Church at The Peacock Estate was built in 1914 and lovingly refurbished a number of years ago to create the light and airy space that we offer today for ceremonies.

The Church is in Tyabb on the Mornington Peninsula and seats 100 guests or up to 120 with standing room for ceremonies – seating can be supplied or you can source your own.

It is a really unique space as couples can choose to get married at either end of the stunning space – on the white light-filled stage surrounded by an ornate wooden archway or in front of the stained glass windows, bathed in the warm glow.

Our wedding was the most perfect day. The venue and all the staff were amazing to deal with. Loved every moment of it!

This was a dream location to have such a beautiful chapel for our ceremony, great photos on site and nearby. Staff were fantastic and the reception to have right next door is so convenient indoor and outdoor! I would do it all again tomorrow. Perfect is the word that comes to mind.

The first time I viewed the The Peacock Estate, I knew it was where I would get married It was the perfect venue for us. It had the intimate, laid back vibes we wanted and an amazing all-in-one layout. The chapel is over 100 years old and is so sweet and picturesque. So many of our guests told us it was the most beautiful and perfect wedding they'd been to, and I know I'm biased but I couldn't agree more! I'm so so happy we chose to get married at The Peacock Estate and I would do it all over again in a heartbeat!

The perfect venue to be able to add your own touches to the shed & courtyard. So rustic and such a relaxed feel which is what we wanted. Our guests all raved about the venue. Bec, our coordinator on the day helped everything run without a hitch.
